The American architects are also very proud of their work

Rex Heuermann, an 62-vjeçar, acknowledged to a court today that he was responsible for the deaths of eight women across three decades in Long Island, New York. During a court appearance on Wednesday, the architect admitted to committing the murders. He confirmed that the remains of several victims were dismembered and that the bodies of others were severed into head and foot pieces.

Heuermann has been in custody since August 2023. Previously, he had denied involvement in the deaths of seven women, including four whose bodies were discovered on Gilgo Beach in 2010. According to CNN reports, this admission marks the conclusion of a case that began in 1993.

Investigators have worked for decades to solve the crimes. Following his admission of guilt, Heuermann is expected to face a sentence of life imprisonment without the possibility of parole.
