This figure includes individuals registered in Germany, Italy, France, Portugal, and Kosovo. The data indicates a significant influx of Kosovar refugees over the past several years. In 2006, the total number of registered refugees was 46,711.
Prior reporting in 2006 indicated that the refugee population had reached 40,000, with 11,208 individuals initially registered in 1992. Currently, the distribution of refugees is as follows: Germany hosts the largest population at 8,980 (22%), followed by Italy with 4,220, France with 4,220, and Portugal with 4,220. Within Kosovo, 2,106 refugees are registered.
