Twenty U.S. soldiers have been injured so far in the conflict with Iran.

Approximately 200 U.S. soldiers have been injured as a result of the continuing military operation against Iran, as confirmed by Central Command spokesperson Timothy Hawkins. The majority of these injuries were minor in nature.

More than 180 American soldiers have already returned to active duty, according to a report by Telegrafi. This revised figure increases the total number of injured personnel from the previously reported 140 U.S. soldiers since March 10th.

Initially, the Pentagon indicated that eight of these injuries were classified as serious. These included cases where death was possible or imminent, as stated by a U.S. official to CNN.

The head of foreign policy has stated that the European Union does not possess “appetite” to broaden the naval mission within the Strait of Hormuz. This decision reflects the ongoing complexities surrounding the operation. The situation remains dynamic, with a significant number of injured soldiers receiving care and a substantial portion returning to their roles.

The overall impact of the campaign against Iran continues to be assessed.
