VV and PDK have not yet decided on the names for the electoral colleges, with Hamiti and Nitaj being proposed by LDK and AAK.

Vjosa Osmani, the President of Kosovo, is engaged in discussions with various political parties to propose candidates for the new Electoral College. Many groups have already announced the individuals who will advocate for them on this important body, while others are still working to finalize their selections. The ruling Movement for Self-Determination, who will have two representatives on the Central Election Commission, has yet to determine the specific names.

Arlind Manxhuka, the spokesperson for the Movement for Self-Determination, clarified this situation to Telegraf. “We haven’t yet made a decision regarding the names, but we will soon submit them to the president and inform her,” he stated. The PDK has similarly indicated that they haven’t completed the process of choosing the names.

“Not yet,” they responded, noting that they received the President’s request on Monday concerning the appointment of Democratic Party of Kosovo members to the Central Election Commission. The overall goal is to ensure a smooth and representative selection of names for the electoral process. This ongoing effort highlights the crucial steps in establishing the composition of the Electoral College.
