Gërvalla downplays LVV’s claim for clean governance, stating there were no “serious scandals.”

Donika Gërvalla dismissed the LVV’s assertions regarding clean governance, asserting that no “serious scandals” occurred. The statement followed a television interview conducted yesterday. During the discussion, she sought to defend the five-year government’s performance.

Gërvalla expressed concern about the language employed in public conversations, noting the presence of voices characterizing LVV voters as “foolish” and “ignorant.” She directly addressed the issue, stating, “I know that you have colleagues who call Kosovar voters ‘foolish,’ they call them ‘ignorant.’ They say ‘all LVV voters are foolish.’”

She emphasized that this particular vocabulary was being utilized. Journalist Blerim Haxhiaj, previously recognized for his amicable interviews with the Prime Minister and other officials, contributed to the conversation. Haxhiaj remarked, “This vocabulary you are using brings you votes…”

Ultimately, Gërvalla sought to counter criticisms and highlight the ongoing efforts of the government, while acknowledging the contentious language surrounding the lvv’s supporters.
