Dushan Maksimoviq, one of the individuals implicated in the Banjska incident, offered an explanation regarding a photograph featuring a uniform. Reports from Gazeta Express, published on March 18, 2026, at 10:37, detailed this exchange. During questioning today, Maksimoviq asserted the uniform was a gift.

He clarified that the garment was provided for his role as a gjueti operative. “I obtained this uniform specifically for my gjueti duties and was unaware of the intended use of the photographs involved,” he stated, addressing a 2022 image. Maksimoviq confirmed his continued participation in the gjueti organization.

“This uniform also functions as a membership card, dating back to 2022,” he added. “My involvement with the gjueti commenced prior to the onset of the coronavirus pandemic.” Concerning the specific photograph in question, Maksimoviq maintained his position.
