The Pediatric Clinic, affiliated with the Clinical and University Hospital of Kosovo (SHSKUK), reported a successful surgical procedure today for a five-year-old patient. The young boy, admitted to Pediatric Intensive Care, required the intervention on his urethra. Specialist teams from Orthopedics and Plastic Surgery successfully completed the operation.
According to a statement released by SHSKUK, the procedure concluded without complications. Medical indications dictated the necessary treatment, and the patient’s condition remained stable throughout the surgical process. Following the operation, the child has been transferred back to Pediatric Intensive Care.
There, he continues to receive ongoing treatment, close monitoring, and essential post-operative care. Healthcare professionals are providing comprehensive support to ensure his recovery. Meanwhile, authorities are actively searching for the parents of the five-year-old child who suffered abuse in Lipjan.
The focus remains on the child’s well-being and continued medical attention as he recovers from the recent surgical procedure.
