PDK Official Accuses Kurti of Sole Focus on Power Acquisition
Pristina – The PDK (Kosovo League of Peopl) has voiced strong criticism of Prime Minister Albin Kurti, alleging a singular focus on consolidating power within the government. According to PDK deputy Arben Mustafa, the party has long recognized Kurti’s political strategy. Mustafa stated that Kurti’s actions are driven solely by an ambition to accumulate all available power, rejecting any notion of collaborative governance or constructive political development.
“The PDK has long understood the game of Albin Kurti. This man recognizes no other logic except seizing all power,” Mustafa asserted. He further explained that the PDK views Kurti’s approach as prioritizing political maneuvering over genuine progress.
“He is not in politics to build, but only to take as much power as possible and to rule,” Mustafa declared. With the constitutional deadline for electing a president set for April 28th, the PDK warns against further unproductive debate. Failure to reach a consensus by this date will automatically trigger a constitutional crisis for Kosovo.
The PDK’s comments highlight ongoing tensions surrounding the presidential election and Kurti’s perceived prioritization of power.
