Sentencing Concludes in Murder Case of Liridona Ademaj
Pristina, Kosovo – The Basic Court in Pristina today delivered life sentences to Naim Murse and Granit Plav, and a 30-year prison term for Kushtrim Kokalla, following their conviction for the murder of Liridona Ademaj, which occurred on November 29, 2023. The court found the defendants responsible for the death of the victim. Following the sentencing, Leonardi Ademaj, the brother of liridona, issued a statement.
He indicated his intention to visit his mother and express his belief that the inheritance was rightfully allocated. “I will go to visit my mother and tell her that at least the inheritance went to the right person,” he stated. The prosecution presented evidence indicating that Naim Murse, in collaboration with Kushtrim Kokalla, orchestrated the crime, with Granit Plav identified as the individual who carried out the act.
The court’s decision is considered a significant outcome for the Ademaj family, acknowledging the tragic loss of Liridona and her children, who will not have the opportunity to see her again. The sentencing represents the culmination of legal proceedings in this case.
