Tourists Injured in Pattaya Car Accident

Five individuals sustained injuries following a traffic accident in Pattaya, Thailand, on Wednesday evening. The incident occurred at approximately 7:50 PM near a massage shop on Second Road. A driver operating a BMW 520d reportedly lost control of the vehicle, causing it to reverse and mount a sidewalk.

Initial reports indicate the driver was partially outside the vehicle at the time of the incident. The vehicle subsequently collided with massage shop staff and pedestrians. Among those injured were two Australian tourists, a 56-year-old man and his two-year-old son, and an American man.

A further individual, also an Australian, was pushing a child in a stroller when the accident occurred. One person was trapped beneath the vehicle following the impact, which also involved a nearby baggage shop. Emergency services responded to the scene and transported the injured to local hospitals.
