Man Injured in Head by Unknown Object in Ferizaj Region
A 57-year-old man, identified only as A.A., sustained head injuries following an incident at a private residence in the village of Bibaj, near Ferizaj, Kosovo, on April 24, 2026. The Kosovo Police were alerted to the situation at approximately 09:50 after receiving a report from the Ferizaj hospital’s Emergency Center. According to Kanun Veseli, spokesperson for the Ferizaj region of the Kosovo Police, a rapid response unit was immediately dispatched to the scene.
Initial investigations suggest the man was struck by a skeletal structure. “We were notified by the Ferizaj hospital that a person had presented with injuries,” Veseli stated. “The rapid response unit established that the individual involved was A.A., aged 57.”
The injured man was transported to the University Clinical Center of Kosovo – Pristina for further medical evaluation and treatment.
Authorities are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident in the Bibaj area, near Ferizaj. The exact nature of the object that struck the old man remains under investigation.
