Prishtina – Acting President of Kosovo, Albulena Haxhiu, has formally requested the immediate commencement of the competition for the position of State Prosecutors to the Chairman and members of the Kosovo Prosecutors Council (KPK). Haxhiu’s request, detailed in a letter provided to Telegrafi, acknowledges the KPK’s institutional cooperation and highlights the importance of increased engagement and improved coordination to bolster the rule of law within Kosovo. The letter, penned by Haxhiu, emphasizes that the Office of the President views the selection process for State Prosecutors as now complete.
Consequently, she urged the KPK to initiate the competition without further delay, stating it represents a crucial institutional obligation. Haxhiu specifically addressed Chairman Arian Gashi and the KPK members, requesting swift action to fulfill this requirement.
