Ferizaj President Explains Delay in Arsim Abazi Taking Charge of ‘Ujqit’
Ferizaj’s president, Lulzim Abazi, has offered an explanation for the delay in coach Arsim Abazi assuming leadership of the ‘Ujqit’ football club. Following the termination of Nevil Dede’s contract with Ferizaj on April 19th due to unsatisfactory performance, Abazi was officially appointed as head coach just one day later, previously leading Dinamo Ferizaj. However, the situation has been complicated by the involvement of Dinamo Ferizaj.
According to Abazi, Dinamo requested that Abazi resign from his current salary as a condition for his dismissal from the ‘Ujqit’ role. “Arsim indicated that Dinamo stipulated he must relinquish his salary before the dismissal order could be finalized,” Abazi stated. “I have confirmation of this information,” he added.
The issue appears to center around contractual obligations between Dinamo and Abazi. The president’s account suggests a negotiation process is underway, with Dinamo’s stance creating a hurdle in Abazi’s immediate transition to leading ‘Ujqit’.
