Tirana – Representatives from various political parties will convene today at 15:00, as invited by President Albulena Haxhiu, to finalize the date for upcoming parliamentary elections. The meeting follows confirmations of participation from parties previously operating in opposition. Following the invitation, the General Secretary of the People’s Democratic Party (PDK), Vlora Çitaku, stated that her party would attend the scheduled meeting.

“We have received an invitation and will participate,” Çitaku confirmed. Jehona Lushaku-Sadriu, the former head of PDK deputies, also announced her party’s participation in the discussion. “Yes, we will participate,” she affirmed.

The purpose of the meeting is to determine the precise date of the elections, a key point of discussion following recent political developments.
