Sejdziu: The VV does not exist, the people there are “Kurt’s machine”

Sejdiu Claims Vetëvendosje Operates as “Albin Kurti’s Machine”

Opinionist Dardan Sejdiu has issued a critical assessment of the Vetëvendosje (VV) Movement, characterizing it as a centralized operation driven by its leader, Albin Kurti. Appearing on Klan Kosovës’ Rubikon program on May 1, 2026, Sejdiu argued that the movement’s existence is largely defined by Kurti’s influence. Sejdiu stated that the people associated with VV function primarily as a “voting machine,” directed and controlled by Kurti.

He asserted that individuals within the movement are instructed to deliver messages and promote specific narratives. “It should be erased that name, because the Vetëvendosje doesn’t exist,” Sejdiu declared. He further criticized the movement’s tactics, citing instances of political attacks against the University Community of Teachers of Kosovo (UÇK) in Parliament without accountability.

Sejdiu suggested that the movement’s actions involve manipulating people into carrying out tasks and disseminating information. “It is Albin Kurti’s machine, to subjugate the people there, to put their hands out, to carry messages about karate and read texts written by someone else.”

The discussion centered on concerns regarding the lack of accountability within the political landscape of Kosovo.
