Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama Opens Solo Exhibition in Berlin

Berlin – Prime Minister of Albania, Edi Rama, inaugurated a personal exhibition at the “Galerie Societe” art house in the city’s center on Tuesday. The exhibition, titled “Krizalizimi” (Cross-zation), features thirteen sculptures created by Rama himself and marks the first time his work has been showcased in a dedicated personal exhibition. The event, which runs until May 27th, includes a range of bronze sculptures alongside works by established international artists.

A particularly notable piece, standing at over two meters in height, was placed in the gallery’s courtyard. According to organizers, the artwork was created through a multi-stage process. Rama initially translated his sketches into 3D printed forms, which he subsequently sculpted by hand before casting them in bronze.

The exhibition provides a unique opportunity to view the creative process of the Prime Minister, who is also an accomplished artist. The “Galerie Societe” has dedicated a special area to display these sculptures, offering visitors a comprehensive look at Rama’s artistic endeavors. This event highlights Rama’s continued engagement with the arts and his commitment to showcasing Albanian artistic talent on an international stage.
