Tirana is being flooded with MPs, as Rama alters the plan: Balla in Tirana, Klosi in Durrës, Manja in Dibër.

As the 2027 local elections draw near, Edi Rama has once again reorganized the political structure across the regions. The Socialist Mayor has concentrated his efforts largely on tirana, seeing a transfer of authority from Vlora and Kukes, previously managed by Damian Gjiknuri and Eduard Shalsi. Following her exit from government roles, Elisa Spiropali has relinquished her regional leadership position, though she maintains a role within tirana’s political team as a delegate for one of its units.

Taulant Balla has been assigned the task of guiding the political direction of tirana, and he will also oversee the work of the Diaspora. “We today initiate a thorough campaign, both within the Socialist Party and for the Socialist Party, prioritizing the needs of the people and the shared objectives we hold with them.” Lindita Nikolla has been appointed to unit number 1; Gent Gazelli continues to manage operations. Rama’s strategic shifts aim to bolster the Socialist Party’s presence and effectiveness as they prepare for the upcoming elections.
