A woman tragically died on Saturday following a fall from the Moglica Bridge in Gjakova. The General Hospital “Isa Grezda” released a statement to the media detailing the unfortunate event. On March 21, 2026, at approximately 20:15, the Emergency Service at the hospital received a female patient presenting with signs of life.
She was admitted in a severe polytrauma condition and was unconscious. The hospital’s statement further outlined the immediate interventions undertaken by the medical staff. It was reported that a woman had fallen from the Moglica Bridge in Gjakova.
“The medical team immediately took all emergency measures according to current protocols,” the statement continued. “This included endotracheal intubation and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). Despite the maximum efforts of the staff at the hospital, the woman’s condition proved fatal.”
The “Isa Grezda” hospital confirmed that all available resources were utilized in an attempt to save the patient’s life.
The incident remains under investigation.
