The Ministry of Economy convened the third session of the Steering Committee dedicated to the “Energy Transition and Climate Mitigation in Kosovo” initiative. This project receives funding from the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and is being executed by the Ministry of Economy alongside LuxDev, the Luxembourg Agency for Development Cooperation. Minister of Economy, Artane Rizvanolli, initiated the meeting, highlighting the crucial role of international collaboration in driving the transition to cleaner energy and combating climate change within Kosovo.
She underscored that this undertaking significantly bolsters the country’s institutional capabilities. Furthermore, the project actively supports the development of policies focused on establishing a more sustainable and environmentally friendly energy system. The initiative’s success relies heavily on robust cooperation between Kosovo and Luxembourg.
A representative from the Luxembourg Embassy in Pristina also addressed the assembled participants, contributing to the discussion. The overall goal remains to foster advancements in energy solutions and mitigate the impacts of climate change through strategic partnerships and dedicated efforts.
