The Basic State Prosecution in Prizren has formally requested a 30-day detention order from the Basic Court in Prizren. This action pertains to E.K. and A.K., who are presently held under a 48-hour preventative detention due to suspicions surrounding the commission of criminal offenses.

These offenses include “Benefit Taking” and “Coercion.” The prosecution asserts that since 2021, suspect E.K. has systematically defrauded victim B.Ç., skillfully leveraging her vulnerable financial circumstances to accumulate substantial, unwarranted gains. Furthermore, victim B.B.

was also implicated in the scheme, joining the defendant’s actions after failing to satisfy outstanding debts. This expansion of the case has elevated the prosecution’s initial demand to 550,000 euros. To obtain this sum, the accused individuals pressured victim B.Ç.

to transfer two commercial properties and a residence, estimated to be worth approximately one million euros. The ongoing detention reflects the seriousness of the allegations and the prosecution’s determination to secure further evidence.
