The Ministry of Education and Science, in collaboration with its dedicated working group, has finalized all gathered observations. A revised draft law for Higher Education is scheduled for publication on ENER this Friday. Janevska announced today that the law is now fully complete and is anticipated to commence government procedure within the next week.
Numerous articles within the law have been finalized and meticulously adjusted to align with the precise demands of the relevant institutions. Janevska expressed her expectation that the document will appear on ENER by Friday, allowing for a period of approximately 2-3 days for public review. Despite this, she clarified that no legal mandate necessitates this publication timeframe.
However, as a commitment made previously, the Ministry intends to proceed with this action. Following its release on ENER, the law will then formally enter government procedure. Notably, a significant number of universities had previously voiced concerns regarding the initial draft proposed by the Ministry of Education and Science.
This revised law represents a response to those concerns, aiming to strengthen the framework for education within the higher education sector.
