Ukrainian Defence Intelligence (DIU) has published a video documenting the neutralization of a Russian missile. The footage depicts a coastal defense system, operated by Russian forces in occupied Crimea, successfully destroying a Bastion-M missile on the night of March 23-24. According to the DIU’s report, intelligence operatives tracked a Bastion-M missile convoy as it advanced towards launch positions within Crimea, as detailed by Telegrafi.
The operation involved precise strikes carried out by the intelligence unit. The result was the destruction of two high-value Zircon missiles, alongside damage to another Bastion system. Tragically, seven Russian soldiers sustained casualties, either through death or injury.
Furthermore, the DIU emphasized ongoing Russian activity, highlighting fearsome images of a Russian drone colliding with a building in Lviv during the day. This incident underscored the deployment of Zircon missiles by Russian forces. The intelligence agency continues to monitor and report on these developments, focusing on the continued use of Bastion systems and their associated weaponry.
