The opposition’s vote against Abdixhiku, Bajrami: I did not seek any delegate vote for or against him.

Following the December 28th election outcome, where the LDK secured over 13% of the electorate, the decision regarding Lumir Abdixhiku’s continued leadership was entrusted to the party’s delegates. Hykmete Bajrami had previously stepped down as vice-chair and formally requested Abdixhiku’s resignation. She appeared on “Pressing” of T7, clarifying the situation.

Bajrami asserted that she had not solicited any delegate’s vote, either for or against Abdixhiku. She emphasized the scale of the gathering, noting the presence of 300 delegates. “No delegate engaged with Hykmete Bajrami to cast a vote either in favor of or against Lumir Abdixhiku,” she explained.

Her statement aimed to dispel any suggestion of undue influence or manipulation within the party’s decision-making process. The focus remained on the delegates’ independent judgment regarding Abdixhiku’s position.

  1. The opposition’s rejection of Abdixhiku and Bajrami was based on the statement that I did not solicit delegate votes either for or against him.
