During the period spanning June 19 to June 26, 2026, the Office for Victim Protection and Assistance managed a total of 50 cases involving victims at the Kosovo level. Analysis of the processed cases indicates that the majority of incidents were related to domestic violence, accounting for 46 of the total cases.
Additionally, the office handled two cases of sexual assault and one case involving attempted aggravated assault. The administrative work processed during this June period detailed several specific requests and filings. Among these actions, there was one recorded instance of family duty violation.
Furthermore, the office processed five requests for protection orders submitted to the court (KUM) and fifteen requests for emergency protection orders (KUME). Other procedural activities included one request to change an existing protection order (UM), one request for the withdrawal of an UM, and two requests for the suspension of an UM. In matters of compensation and complaint, the office managed two requests for damage compensation, two formal complaints, and six general submissions.
