Haxhiu and Kryeziu from the PDK submit a complaint to the Constitutional Court: The results of the parliamentary elections are inaccurate

PDK deputy candidates Bekim Haxhiu and Qëndrim Kryeziu have filed a formal complaint with the Electoral Complaints and Appeals Panel (PZAP). The filing challenges the final election results published by the Central Election Commission (KQZ), which the candidates assert are inaccurate. Speaking to the media, Haxhiu stated that the pair submitted the complaint because the published results are, in their view, flawed and lack proper verification.

They cited specific discrepancies found during a recount involving 521 votes belonging to the PDK. According to the candidates, the grounds for their complaint rest on verifiable errors in the tabulation process. Haxhiu pointed out that 221 votes recorded during the initial registration process were reportedly included in error.

Furthermore, he noted that during his participation in the recount, six additional votes were added, forming the basis of their contention that the current certification of the results is invalid. The submission of this complaint by both haxhiu and kryeziu seeks to compel a review of the election data, arguing that the existing final tally does not accurately reflect the votes cast. The candidates maintain that the irregularities found in the vote count necessitate a reassessment of the official results.
