Dimitrieska-Koçoska: Revenue increased and additional investments were made; budget revenues reached 170 billion denars

For the first half of the current fiscal year, covering the period from January through June, the total revenues recorded in the national budget reached 170 billion denars (specifically 169.9 billion denars). This figure marks an increase of 8.6% when compared to the corresponding period in the previous year, representing over 45% achievement against the established plan. During a parliamentary committee debate concerning the rebalancing of the 2026 budget, the Minister of Finance, Gordana Dimitrieska-Koçoska, provided an assessment of the national finances.

She stated that public finances are currently stable, noting that the revenue stream is developing according to projections. Furthermore, she confirmed that expenditures are being managed to meet all mandated legal obligations while prioritizing key development policies. Minister Dimitrieska-Koçoska highlighted that the majority of the revenue intake originates from routine economic activities.

Specifically, tax revenues amounted to 96.7 billion denars. This data indicates a steady flow of funds supporting the national financial structure. The overall performance suggests that governmental fiscal management remains aligned with stability goals, underpinning the planning for future budgetary cycles.
