A Polish general is asking the “Coalition of the Willing” to deploy peacekeepers to Ukraine. The “Coalition of the Willing” is a term used to describe the group of nations that initially supported the united effort to liberate Kuwait during the Persian Gulf War. It was formed by President George H.W. Bush in August 1990, following Iraq’s invasion of Kuwait.

The Initiative Group needs to deploy a peacekeeping force in Ukraine, irrespective of Russian objections. This action would also permit NATO to legally restrict airspace over western Ukraine, safeguarding alliance military personnel. This viewpoint was articulated in an interview with Ukrinform by Jarosław Kraszewski, a former Polish expert and a previous commander of the rocket and artillery forces within the Polish Armed Forces, as reported by Telegrafi.

Kraszewski explained that a recognized operational model, termed “peace enforcement,” is utilized when a party declines to negotiate a peaceful resolution. Ukraine has clearly shown a commitment to achieving peace through acceptable and equitable conditions. Conversely, Russia is actively misleading global perceptions.
