A warehouse containing 4,000 cannabis roots has been released free of charge to the director of the Rrogozhina prison – he is being sought by his brother.

Following the handover to law enforcement, Bilal Hasa, the director of the Rrogozhina prison, was liberated. He will now face an investigation under house arrest following the discovery of a warehouse associated with him in Peqin. Within this warehouse, authorities located four thousand cannabis plants.

Hasa had initially been pursued by the police a day prior, and several hours later, he presented himself voluntarily at the police station. During his statement to the investigative team, Bilal Hasa asserted he had no involvement in any illicit operations. He further explained that his brother, Romario Hasa, manages his residential property.

Following the receipt of this testimony, the police released Hasa, as reported by A2. However, his brother remains at large and is still wanted by the police. Bilal Hasa has been temporarily removed from his position by the decision of the General Director of Prisons until the situation is fully examined by the appropriate authorities.

The investigation into the warehouse continues.
