Greek police have apprehended three individuals following a shooting incident that occurred inside a mobile phone store in Athens yesterday afternoon. The attack took place around 6:30 PM on “Patision” street. According to official reports, the incident involved an unidentified individual entering the premises and firing a firearm at the store owner, who is reported to be of Pakistani origin.
The victim sustained a wound to the leg and was immediately transported to the hospital for treatment. Following the shooting, the suspects fled the scene using a vehicle identified as a BMW type. Authorities have since located and arrested three people, including two Albanian nationals identified as Jerasimo Korkuti, aged 31, and Adi Beqiri, aged 27.
The third arrested individual is a Greek national. Despite the arrests, police confirm that one person remains at large. The investigation is ongoing to identify the individual who evaded capture.
Police sources stated that the apprehension of the two Albanian nationals and the Greek citizen was part of a coordinated effort to secure the area after the violent incident. Authorities are continuing efforts to locate the fourth person involved in the events. The incident has prompted increased police presence in the immediate vicinity of the store.
