Bytyqi: The television broadcast regarding oil derivatives is not a solution to the energy crisis.

LSDM deputy Fatmir Bytyqi argues that the government’s use of TVSH for petroleum derivatives is inadequate to tackle the ongoing energy and economic crisis. He contends that this allocation fails to genuinely address the country’s energy challenges. “Simply allocating TVSH does not solve the energy problem,” Bytyqi stressed to “Nezavisen.” He described the approach as a “superficial bandage on a wound, not therapy for the processes leading to the problem.”

Bytyqi voiced serious concerns about the delayed implementation of effective solutions.

He highlighted the direct negative consequences for citizens experiencing these difficult conditions. “When you wait three weeks under such conditions, you don’t remain stable, you move backward, and you allow the crisis to spread,” he explained. The deputy warned that the current government’s stance inadvertently exacerbates the situation.

He asserted that it facilitates a system where a temporary shock is transformed into a sustained increase in prices. Bytyqi emphasized the urgency of action, stating that a proper response is crucial to mitigate the long-term impact. Bytyqi believes a more comprehensive strategy is needed to resolve the energy issues.
