At the time of his arrival, the child’s health was critically unstable. Medical staff observed indications of malnutrition, leading to suspicions of neglect. Furthermore, the boy exhibited considerable difficulty in communicating his needs.
The Pediatric Clinic within the University Clinical Center confirmed the details. A five-year-old boy from Lipjan was transferred to the Central Emergency Department, having been initially assessed by the Lipjan University Clinical Center. His condition presented with serious lower leg injuries and pronounced gangrenous changes.
