David Hasselhoff, the star of “Baywatch,” has been arrested for trespassing, but the animals have been saved. The rescued livestock are now being offered for experiments.

Alexandra Paul, a former “Baywatch” star, faced arrest at Blue Mounds, Wisconsin, due to unlawful entry. The 62-year-old actress was one of around twenty people taken into custody during an incident involving a group of fifty to sixty protestors who entered the Ridglan Farm property. Currently, she remains in police custody.

Ridglan Farms is notable as one of only two significant dog breeding facilities within the United States dedicated to supplying canines for scientific research. In November 2025, a settlement was reached between the La Crosse County Prosecutor and Ridglan Farms. This agreement stipulated that the facility would no longer hold a license from the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection (DATCP).

The agreement also mandated that Ridglan Farms would discontinue selling adult dogs for biomedical research, with the cessation taking effect on June 1st, 2026, as reported by WKOW 27. Activists involved in the protest were also arrested.
