Deputant Blerta Deliu-Kodra addressed the recent spending habits of the Vetëvendosje (VV) party, pointing to a significant discrepancy. Deliu-Kodra noted that VV allocated roughly 15,000 euros for a single campaign event, a nighttime gathering in Pristina. This expenditure occurred while simultaneously, patients faced considerable difficulties securing necessary medications.
Responding to VV’s extensive campaign investments throughout the prior year, Deliu-Kodra emphasized the stark contrast. She specifically referenced the party’s investment of 15,000 euros in a youth event held at a nightclub. “Vetëvendosje and Albin Kurti spent around 15,000 euros for one night in a nightclub,” she stated.
“While many patients daily fight for treatment opportunities, they still lack access.” The situation highlighted a critical issue within the University Clinical Center of Kosovo, where ongoing drug shortages persisted. Deliu-Kodra underscored the need for responsible resource allocation and prioritized patient care over extravagant promotional activities.
