SPB Tetovo reported on March 22nd, 2026, at 09:00, that officers from the DPB Gostivar apprehended E.Z. (29) from the Vrapçisht area of Gostivar. The incident occurred on “Beliçica” street in Gostivar.
Previously, E.Z. had been implicated in a traffic accident involving a “Mercedes” commercial vehicle, registered locally, driven by F.A. (51) from Banjicë e Poshtme, also within the Gostivar region.
The accident took place with a Slovak-registered “Opel” passenger car. During the subsequent investigation, authorities discovered E.Z. was intoxicated, with a blood alcohol content of 0.97 promiles.
Furthermore, it was determined he was operating the vehicle without possessing a valid driver’s license. SPB Tetovo confirmed that an inspection team conducted a thorough examination of the situation. Following the documentation of the case, a formal report will be compiled and submitted for review.
The investigation highlights the importance of adhering to traffic regulations and obtaining proper licensing within the Gostivar area. The vehicle’s license plate was a key piece of evidence.
