The initiative is supported by a link on the Police website, “foreignerregistration.kosovopolice.com:8444”, and an activated Android application titled “Foreigner Registration.” However, the iOS version remains unavailable. Before completing the application form, foreign citizens must acknowledge the terms and conditions. They are also clearly notified that providing false statements could result in criminal prosecution.
The Kosovar Government has committed to issuing temporary residence permits for 12 months for members of the Serbian community who do not possess the necessary documentation. This process ensures compliance and facilitates the integration of foreign citizens within the country.
