Gruda: It is expected that the Ottoman decree will be declared constitutional, and elections will be held within 45 days.

Gruda firmly believes the decree issued by Vjosa Osmani will ultimately be recognized as constitutional. He predicts the Constitutional Court of Kosovo will concur with this assessment, specifically ordering new elections to commence within a 45-day timeframe. The Democratic Party of Kosovo’s Deputy, Pëparim Gruda, articulated his expectations during a Debat Plus interview.

He asserted that the Kosovo Assembly has definitively lost its authority to elect a president. Any alternative interpretation, such as a 60-day deadline, is, according to Gruda, entirely invalid. Gruda is awaiting the formal declaration of President Osmani’s decree concerning the dissolution of the Assembly.

He expects the Constitutional Court to confirm its constitutional validity and mandate that new elections be announced and held within precisely 45 days. This timeline represents the only legally sound course of action, according to Gruda’s assessment.
