Yesterday at 5:20 PM on “Goce Dellçev” Boulevard in Stip, officers from the Mobile Safety Unit for Road Traffic Security within the Sector for Transport Affairs conducted a speed measurement. Utilizing a radar detector provided by the Ministry of Interior, they assessed the speed of a passenger “Golf” vehicle registered in Stip. The vehicle was recorded traveling at 105 kilometers per hour.
This occurred within a densely populated area, where the legally permitted speed limit is 50 kilometers per hour, as confirmed by the Ministry of Interior. The officers immediately took action regarding the driver, S.I., aged 21 and also from Stip. It was determined that the driver would face the legally mandated penalty for this offense.
The Ministry emphasized that appropriate measures were implemented following the violation. “Radar traffic checks will continue in the coming period throughout the country,” they announced. Furthermore, officials strongly urged all road users to consistently adhere to traffic rules and regulations.
