Toni Jarevski, a representative from OBRM-PDUKM, emphasized that all stakeholders involved in the sales process must contribute to resolving the current challenges, aiming for a swift and positive outcome. This initial action represents the first in a planned sequence of interventions. Jarevski highlighted the reassuring state of energy self-sufficiency, noting that gas reserves are guaranteed until April, and substantial oil supplies are secured for a period of sixty days.
He acknowledged that complete preparedness for any potential crisis remains unattainable, but affirmed that the level of preparation is presently commendable. During an appearance on “Top Tema,” jarevski detailed the first measure implemented: a reduction in Value Added Tax (VAT) from 18 percent to 10 percent. Furthermore, he indicated that this rate could be lowered even further to 5 percent if required.
The Ministry of Energy, alongside previous actions, is continuing to implement a range of supportive measures. The situation remains stable, according to jarevski’s statements.
