Prime Minister Albin Kurti has framed recent concessions as a necessary “window” for compromise. This follows the release of notifications from Serbia regarding the enforcement of laws concerning foreigners and vehicles. These actions are intended to alleviate concerns within the Serbian community residing in Kosovo who currently lack Kosovar documentation.
Responding to journalist inquiries, Kurti clarified the nature of these agreements. He asserted that illegal structures are absent in sectors beyond healthcare and education. However, he confirmed their continued presence within those specific fields.
Kurti emphasized that the implementation of the law, after thirteen years of delay, is finally occurring. The Prime Minister stated a twelve-month timeframe would be provided for addressing these existing structures. Kurti reiterated the government’s commitment to integrating all buildings within the healthcare and education systems.
