The Prime Minister’s Office announced that Kurti conveyed his appreciation for Orav’s positive and precise collaboration, expressing sincere gratitude for his dedication and service during his time in Kosovo, beginning on September 1, 2024. Throughout his tenure, despite considerable difficulties, ties between Kosovo and the EU improved substantially.

Kurti emphasized the important contributions and commitment of Ambassador Orav, particularly in initiating the Reform and Growth Instrument. According to the ZKM statement, Kurti acknowledged Orav’s efforts. This meeting underscored the progress made under Orav’s leadership and highlighted the need for the EU to continue its engagement with Kosovo’s candidacy.
