LSDM: Mickoski’s government has money for criminal tenders, but not for the citizens’ referendum

LSDM has accused the current government of being unable to finance a referendum, despite allegedly possessing sufficient funds for various public tenders. The party stated that the core issue is the government’s apparent lack of accessible money for a decision that would allow citizens to determine their own future. According to LSDM, the government reportedly allocates funds for numerous contracts and tenders, contrasting this spending with the purported deficit concerning the referendum.

The party detailed several instances where they claim funds have been directed toward specific corporate entities through these tenders. Specifically, LSDM cited allocations for 161 tenders associated with one company, 93 tenders for Mastef, and 51 tenders managed through municipalities benefiting a company identified as Piramida Building. Furthermore, the party listed 74 tenders allocated to the Landi Group, alongside specific monetary figures: nine million euros designated for a company with two employees, and 1.2 million euros for a facility near ZNAM via the Post Office.

LSDM framed these varied financial outlays as evidence that the government has available money, suggesting these funds are prioritized for specific tenders rather than for the referendum process. The party maintained that the allocation of money demonstrates a pattern of spending on commercial contracts rather than on the mechanism for a public vote.
