Omeragic reveals the shocking figure, FFM begins “cleaning” the system.

The Macedonian Football Federation convened for its annual assembly today, featuring 61 invited delegates from a total of 65 attendees. Significant resolutions were adopted during this meeting, encompassing the finalized financial reports and the proposed budget for 2025. Crucially, the new Federation of Macedonian Football Statute was formally adopted after fifteen years of development.

The Telegraph indicates that this revised statute was created through close collaboration with UEFA and FIFA. The primary goal was to ensure alignment with globally recognized standards. It introduces enhanced transparency, a well-defined structure of responsibilities, and a streamlined decision-making process.

A key element of the changes involves the regionalization of the football federation’s structures. Many previously utilized municipal laws were identified as ineffective or lacking genuine impact. FFM President, Masar Omeragic, highlighted that a recent registration review process uncovered these issues.

This new statute represents a significant step forward for Macedonian football, aiming to modernize the organization and improve its operational effectiveness. The Macedonian football federation is focused on building a stronger, more transparent future.
