The Deputy of the OBRM-PDUKM-s, Brane Petrushevski, responded to yesterday’s demonstration spearheaded by the Federation of Trade Unions of Macedonia. According to a subsequent press briefing, Petrushevski asserted the event was fundamentally a political occurrence, bolstered by the opposition party.
He pointed to the presence of individuals displaying LSM emblems, arguing this suggested coordinated activity between the union and the party. Petrushevski declared that the public’s understanding since yesterday had unequivocally identified LSM and SDSM as working together. He further suggested that SDSM’s local branches were involved in the organization of the protest.
His remarks highlighted the participation of activists from multiple cities, including Kumanovo, Tetovo, and Strumica, as part of the protest. This activity, as Petrushevski viewed it, underscored the coordinated nature of the demonstration.
