The police have announced the successful execution of an operation targeting a drug distribution network. The operation, designated ‘Camouflage’, was conducted by specialists from the Crime Investigation Section of the Sarande Police Station. The operation was initiated following ongoing efforts to combat criminal activity linked to narcotics.
The operation culminated in the discovery of a hidden base, cleverly disguised as a car wash and vehicle repair shop. During the raid, approximately 1 kilogram of cannabis sativa was seized, alongside a range of other illicit items. Police reports detail the extensive investigative work undertaken.
As a direct result of the operation, two individuals were apprehended while engaged in illegal activities. R. M., aged 51, and I.
P., aged 22, both residents of Sarandë, were taken into custody. Investigative actions confirmed their involvement in the illicit trade. The police successfully dismantled the network and confiscated the seized materials.
