The Kosovo Police, in collaboration with Infrakos, successfully assumed control of four railway substations located in the municipalities of Zveçan and Leposaviq. Veton Elshani, the Deputy Director of the Kosovo Police for the northern region of Mitrovica, confirmed the operation, stating, “We assisted in taking control of four stations in Zveçan and Leposaviq.”
The handover operation was attended by several high-ranking officials. Present among the attendees were Dimal Basha, the Minister in charge of Infrastructure and Transport; Xhelal Sveçla, the Minister in charge of Internal Affairs; Artane Rizvanolli, the Minister in charge of Economy; and Bujar Jupaj, the Executive Director of Infrakos.
During the event, Infrastructure and Transport Minister Dimal Basha announced that the Public Enterprise I has returned to full management. This action signifies a key development in the infrastructure sector within Kosovo. The police assistance in securing these facilities underscores efforts to stabilize and manage critical transport links across the region.
