Rama stated: I never wished to interfere in Kosovan politics, it seemed amusing to me when they attempted to intervene in Albania.

The Prime Minister of Albania, Edi Rama, firmly asserted his lack of involvement in Kosovan politics, dismissing attempts by Kosovar politicians to interfere as absurd. This declaration was delivered during the tenth episode of season six of the “Flasim” podcast, featuring Professor Arjan Gjonçaj. Rama unequivocally stated, “I possess absolutely no position within Kosovo.

I’ve never sought to influence their matters.” He further described the situation as “ridiculous” when Kosovar politicians attempted to intervene in Albania. He added that the situation now appeared to have resolved itself, with the Kosovars having seemingly understood the boundaries. “The other element is simply requiring honesty and authenticity,” Rama continued.

The Prime Minister also addressed the ongoing financial support provided to commanders of the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA), currently on trial in The Hague. He confirmed he hadn’t personally engaged with the chief regarding this matter. Ultimately, Rama reiterated his stance, emphasizing that Albania maintains a neutral position concerning Kosovan affairs and that any attempts to interfere seemed unwarranted.
