Sejdziu argues that Murat Jashari’s insistence on the “paper tower” candidacy for Kurt is misguided.

Murat Jashari’s name has gained considerable attention within Kosovo’s public discourse as a possible contender for the nation’s presidency. Despite this, he has emphatically refuted any desire to assume the role of head of state. This development prompted a response from political analyst Dardan Sejdiu.

Sejdiu, speaking on the Rubikon program broadcast on Klan Kosovo, asserted that Murat Jashari’s denial had effectively countered a storyline being constructed by Prime Minister Albin Kurti. He argued that the situation had been developing with the intention of presenting jashari as a viable option. The analyst noted that the Jashari family has historically demonstrated a commendable level of restraint, typically avoiding engagement in political debates.

However, Sejdiu suggested that Murat Jashari’s reaction stemmed from the heightened intensity of the public conversation surrounding the potential candidacy. “The jashari family has done this extremely well, with great maturity, never having entered these discussions.”
