Stolen vehicles from Germany, Italy, and America – State police seize four cars valued at 200,000 euros.

The State Police has reported a significant operation targeting illegal vehicle trafficking. Specialists from the Illegal Traffic Investigation Section in Tirana, involved in the ‘Stolen Line’ initiative, successfully seized four vehicles estimated to be worth around 200,000 euros. These vehicles were suspected of being stolen.

The police have formally charged two individuals in connection with the case. However, two further suspects remain at large, continuing to evade capture. The investigation highlights a complex network of illicit activity.

Evidence has been presented to the Prosecutor’s Office detailing the alleged crimes. A criminal investigation has been launched against Mr. S.

C., who is accused of trafficking a “Jeep” stolen from Italy, with the intent to resell it within Albania. Similarly, a criminal investigation has been initiated against Mr. E.

Ç., suspected of trafficking a “Range Rover” that was stolen in America, with the intention of selling it in Albania. The police’s actions demonstrate a commitment to combating the trade of stolen vehicles and bringing those involved to justice. The ongoing operation underscores the police’s efforts to disrupt this criminal activity.
