The “Bridging Creatives” regional project has concluded, and participants from Kosovo and Albania have been certified.

The Institute for the Free Market Economy (IETL), collaborating with the British Council, hosted a final regional event for the “Bridging Creatives: Kosovo – Albania – United Kingdom for Creative Growth” project in Pristina. This significant project received backing from the Western Balkans – UK Creative Skills Development Fund. Participants who completed the training courses offered during the initiative were formally certified.

The core goal of this project was to cultivate professional skills within the creative sector. A key focus was on the practical aspects of operating and managing commercial galleries, alongside strategies for the international promotion of artists originating from Kosovo and Albania. Gazmend Ejupi, a key trainer involved, highlighted the project’s distinctive nature.

He noted that it represented the first structured training program specifically designed for individuals within the creative field. The “Bridging Creatives” project successfully fostered growth and development, offering valuable skills and opportunities for participants. It served as a vital undertaking, supporting the creative industries in the region.
