This innovative suggestion was subsequently recognized with the prestigious “Word of the Year” award, bestowed upon it by the magazine “Jezik.”
The introduction of VAR has become a globally accepted term, referring to the camera system and technological advancements utilized in football to scrutinize contentious refereeing decisions.
